in the tropical Malaysian island paradise of Pulau Tenggol ,

only 45 minutes from the coastal
quiet fishing town of Kuala Dungun,Terengganu. The island,
small and compact (less than 3 kilometres long and 2
kilometers wide) is one of the most beautiful and serene
islands flanking the famous East Coast of Malaysia, known for
its pristine waters warmed bySouth China Sea. The island is
easily accesible byan exhilarating 45-minute speed boat ride
from Kuala Dungun, which is served bythe airstrips of Kuala
Terengganu and Kerteh. Kerteh is only 50-minutes byflight
from the inter-national airport at Kuala Lumpur, the capital
of Malaysia.

The
island of East Coast, in particular the islands of
Terengganu are re-knowed for their year round tropical
climate, beautiful white sandy beaches, clear azure
blue waters and some of the best diving in the world.
Pulau Tenggol's deep forested interior interior also
makes it a scenic destination for adventorous hikers
and trekkers. In fact, there are three abrupt hills
rising over 800 feet inland and the only flat areas
are in the west bythe shoreline. |
Telok
Ayer Tawar is the largest and most secluded sandy bay on the
west coast and it is here that Tenggol Aqua Resort is
situated. Facilities and amenities for sailing, diving,
boating, windsurfing and many other sports and recreational
activities are also available.The

operation is the only fully-equipped dive outfit on
the island, boasting of a lounge with a
full-facilities such as diver's classroom, DAN oxygen
kits for emergency, dive shop, 4 speed boats and 2
wooden dive boats, quality Scubapro equipments and an
impressively spacious and well-designed divers' kit-up

We
are the only fully equipped dive resort on the
island. Accommodation is in the form of chalets
or bungalows, with fully attached bathrooms and
toilet facilities.
It also has a main hall for meals, a lounge with
a classroom for classes, a kit-up area.
Audio-visuals facilities are also available. We
have two DAN oxygen kits for any emergency. The
nearest decompression chamber is at Kuatan Naval
Base about two hours drive. |
